The House Show
Locust Street Art is a community art school based in an old convent on the East Side. Our organization has always worked against the status quo to uplift the voices of our students through visual arts. Inspired by our history, the history of our building as a home for nuns, and punk and indie house shows, "The House Show" highlights themes of independence, going against the grain, and anything punk! We are seeking submissions from local artists that fit the exhibition themes—your work doesn't necessarily need to reflect punk aesthetics. This exhibition will run from July 24th - August 2nd with a special performance by RomCom Victims at the exhibition opening, July 24th 5:00 - 8:00.
